Ate at Shari's for Christmas Eve dinner, heh, on my way back from picking my mother up from the airport.

Caldwell, ID Shari's rocks.

Had Irish Potato Skins and Western Scramble. Service was terrible, as always, but that's what I love so much about the place.

Sharis is evil.

I'm sitting in my wonderful dorm room studying like a responsibly college freshman. When Adrianne comes running down the hall to inform me that I'm going to Sharis. Of course I drop my book, find my shoes, and make the trek to the car. We had a wonderful waitress that didn't mind when we spilled water all over the table, stole all the creamers, or threw "cancer-causing" sugar at eachother.

It was much better than reading about Christian ethics. Sharis is evil, but wonderful!

That Abe is the greatest waiter in history. My friends Garin, Kristjan and I went to Shari's around three this morning and it was pretty empty. Abe (super-waiter) was just chillin' and talkin' to us and servin' us. Then, when he brings us the bill for the night, he's all "Special deal. Tonight only. I'll tell you what. If you guys buy a pie, I'll let you hit me in the face with it." Oh yeah! We were all over that. We got the mud slide and Kristjan planted it into his face and it flew everywhere. Can you say %100 tip time, I think so. It was grand.

Story time...
Okay, first off, I love Shari's and I drop in at the local Kirkland, WA, Shari's an average of at least twice a week. It has the single greates waiter in the history of waitering, Abe. He's way rad and he switches to our section when he's working in another section and we come in. Anyway, on to the story.

I go to Shari's so often that it's hard to recall all the great stuff that's happened there, but one event always comes to mind. My friends and I have this habit of sounding completely serious when talking about utterly ridiculous things. As many of you probably do, we were discussing adding our ages up in order to use the "honored" menu. We decided that they probably get plenty of that and in order to get the deals we'd have to use more drastic measures. For instance, bringing in an old dead guy and order our stuff as his. Then we thought the waiter might be like "That old dude's dead and you guys are just using him to order from the honored menu!" So I suggest we carve out the back of an old dead dude's head and pull a ventriliquist(sp?) act on them. Right then, this guy who had been seated with his girlfriend just moments earlier to hear me mid-carve-the-dude's-head-out rant (incidentally I was way into it and didn't notice that people had been seated directly behind me) peaks his head over our booth directly above my own cranium and gives us all the dirtiest look in history. Not to mention he was the weirdest lookin' dude in history. So about a half minute later the happy couple takes off with empty stomachs and we laughed and laughed and laughed.

P.S. Sorry if anyone's offended by the old dead guy stuff. I'm a bit crass/morbid.

P.P.S. I'm higgidy hungry. I wish I was at Shari's now.

Bam Bam.
I like Sharis because our Waitress gives us color crayons to keep us quiet. It works to. We draw her pictures.

well talk about a revival
well i am certainly glad more people have joined this small community. i almost forgot about it. i still go to sharis, and i always have fun, i hope all of you do, too.

since i'm posting, i might as well include a sharis moment.

my three friends and i went to sharis in salem on kuebler rd. the waitress sat us and when we were ready to order, i ordered coffee and one of my friends ordered a hot apple pie sundae. it was about 2 minutes to 10 pm. the waitress told us there was a new policy and everyone had to order something after ten. i looked around and there was no sign. this made me so mad because we all know sharis would be nothing without it's late night coffee drinkers. i laughed at her. i almost walked out. she must have been new because seriously, sharis would never make a rule like that. but anyway, i enjoyed my coffee even though she was slow at getting our orders and getting us water.

Hi, I'm new.
You know in happy days how they always go to that same restarunt? That's sharis (the one at westgate in T-town, WA) for me and my friends. We got there every chance we get. We became very good friends with the waitress, Erin. She is so cool. They know us by name and we have great stories from there. Including the time I threw a stuffed squirrel into the next booth and some scarey guy started yelling at us. (I was hiding under the table the whole time.)
Sharis is the greatest place to be with friends.

This is the coolest idea for a community ever! It's too bad this is the first post in a year.

I've been living in Bellingham, WA for four years and I love going to the Shari's here because it's laid out exactly like the one in Wenatchee, WA, so it always brings back fond memories of high school. Shari's was the hang out spot. Denny's was a distant second. I love the way almost all Shari's are laid out exactly the same. I have been to one that was laid out differently and it was a bitter experience. They built it like a year or two in East Wenatchee. I took my girlfriend there to check it out, but I couldn't handle the different building scheme. We left before they could even take our orders.

shari's experience #326 : my b-day
kacy, asonja, nicole and i went to shari's after the onyx. these group of (3) boys came in and sat 2 booths behind us. they looked 16, i swear. one was really cute, but a young cute.

they start shooting creamers at us! it was hilarious! they would steal them from the little place they keep them, and shoot them at us. they hit us in the head with them! so we threw the creamers back! it was so funny!

the cute one walked by and we asked how old he was. he was 18! he looked so young! it was great!

definitly another successful shari's experience!

Here's a recent Shari's moment
Two weeks ago on Friday the 8th I went to Shari's in Garden Home (Beaverton/Portland area) with my friends Dave and Erik and Dave's "interest", and Kaycee and Pat.

My allergies were terrible and so I kept rubbing my eyes and they were all red. Dave and Erik kept saying that I had pinkeye. Everytime anything came up, they'd say "look out for Karin and her pinkeye." "Don't drink her water, you don't want pinkeye." I was eating pancakes, and couldn't eat them all, and Erik was poking at them. I told him he could have some, but he said "no, I don't want pinkeye."

Maybe you had to be there. It was funny. I miss my boys. :)

sharis experiance #575
went to sharis last night with daydra, sabrina, and josh.

that was fun! daydra knew all the waitresses and stuff. she got really mad at josh cause he didn't show up, and when daydra gets mad, she gets funny! heh.

anyway, we got there like at 11, and didn't leave till 1:30 in the morning. i drank so much coffee, i didn't ge tto sleep till 3 am! it was horrible, but it's just a small price to pay for a fun sharis experience!

since we are suppose to share our shari's experiences, i'll start with my most recent experience (which was today).

chris, <ljuser=angz> and myself went to shariss at the berryhill mall (top o' hill if you will)
and this very cute waiter waited on us. this is the same cute waiter that my sister and i encountered on easter. anyway, at the end, angie was filling out something in her check book and she went to click the pen on the table and the top popped off and almost him the waiter. it was so hilarious (yes, i now you had to be there, but just imagine...) but yeah. good food as usual. i had the parisian sandwhich thingy, with fresh fruit and a dr pepper. quite and enjoyable meal.

by the way, the waiter's name is david :)
